Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of AI and emerging-technology projects.
- Define technical approaches, architectures, delivery plans, design patterns, and quality standards.
- Develop secure, scalable, maintainable AI applications and evaluate new technologies through prototypes and proof-of-concept work.
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, solution evaluations, and architecture documentation.
- Mentor team members through technical guidance, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
- Track project risks, dependencies, quality, timelines, and delivery progress.
- Ensure solutions address business objectives, security requirements, data protection, and responsible AI principles.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, AI engineering, or technology delivery.
- Four or more years of experience with Python or another production programming language.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with SQL, structured and unstructured data, data preparation, and data quality.
- Experience with Git, REST APIs, cloud services, automated testing, software architecture, system integration, and technical documentation.
- Experience leading or contributing to AI or emerging-technology projects and designing software architectures with appropriate design patterns.
- Experience mentoring team members, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and communicating technical recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, vector databases, model monitoring, MLOps platforms, NoSQL, cloud-based AI platforms, infrastructure as code, experiment tracking, and relevant certifications.
- Experience in financial services, technology, healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred.
