Base Salary
$178k - $228k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design, scalability, and reliability of build and CI pipelines across multiple services and platforms.
- Optimize build times, test coverage, reporting, and developer feedback cycles.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes for CI systems.
- Improve developer productivity through tooling, automation, integrations, and engineering best practices.
- Drive the vision and strategy for continuous integration and developer productivity infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor CI engineers and partner with engineering leadership on platform and product alignment.
- Promote CI/CD practices and improve engineering efficiency across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience driving and leading engineering efforts in CI, build systems, or developer productivity.
- Strong background with modern build systems and tools such as GitHub, Buildkite, Artifactory, and Bazel.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong programming background in Python, Kotlin, Java, or a similar language.
- Experience managing build systems and frameworks for large monorepos; Bazel experience is preferred.
- Ability to make technical decisions, solve complex problems, and balance long-term vision with short-term impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Active open-source contribution or experience with large-scale software development at a leading technology company is preferred.
