Responsibilities
- Develop and apply machine learning, deep learning, and visual AI algorithms to operational data sets.
- Develop, fine-tune, assess, and maintain predictive, classification, and anomaly-detection models.
- Analyze, transform, visualize, and statistically evaluate time-series, multimodal, and textual data.
- Train deep neural networks including MLPs, CNNs, and Transformers.
- Implement emerging AI/ML solutions from commercial and academic domains for military and government agencies.
- Work with modeling and simulation tools to generate data for new AI/ML models.
- Lead technical projects, delegate work, review work products, and run small technical teams while providing guidance and training.
- Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, customers, vendors, and other external parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance or other contract-required authorization.
- Advanced understanding of applicable technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts.
- Practical knowledge of project management and experience managing technical projects and developing technical solutions.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and popular frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with LLM prompting and Transformer architecture.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with PyTorch and related Python libraries.
- Preferred: experience with unsupervised learning, clustering algorithms, and manifold learning.
- Preferred: strong writing and presentation skills.
