Responsibilities
- Build infrastructure and backend products for the Databricks platform at scale.
- Design and develop distributed systems and large-scale service architectures.
- Build reliable, high-performance services and client libraries for storing and accessing data on cloud storage backends.
- Develop scalable services and data pipelines that power pricing infrastructure and platform usage features.
- Work on monitoring, workflow orchestration, developer experience, and customer-facing product capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- 7+ years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, C++, or a similar programming language.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
