Responsibilities
- Scale model inference and run predictions at scale on advanced models
- Connect machine-learning models to human interfaces such as APIs, browsers, and applications
- Design and implement large-scale data and machine-learning pipelines through the end-to-end product development lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, product managers, designers, and operations teammates to create products
Requirements
- Experience as a software engineer
- Experience building and serving machine-learning models
- Familiarity with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Hugging Face, and related open-source ML stacks
- Ability to reason through machine-learning system tradeoffs
- High level of end-to-end ownership and self-direction
- Familiarity with TinyML, Triton, CUDA, ROCm, Exo, MLIR, or Halide is considered an extra qualification
- Familiarity with DataOps, MLOps, and ML orchestration pipelines is considered an extra qualification
- Understanding of modern ML architectures and inference performance tradeoffs is considered an extra qualification
- Experience or interest in open-source ML products is considered an extra qualification
- Interest in privacy, computational integrity, or censorship-resistance technology is considered an extra qualification
- Experience at fast-growing companies or startups is considered an extra qualification
