Base Salary
$223k - $311k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate patient and growth opportunities into technical strategy and determine how systems should evolve.
- Lead complex backend engineering work across healthcare intake, prescription flows, commerce, merchandising, subscriptions, renewals, and related patient experiences.
- Shape ambiguous problems and bring systems thinking and technical judgment into product decisions.
- Build reusable technical foundations that enable rapid testing, iteration, and scaling of patient and growth experiences.
- Partner with Growth, Clinical, Product, Design, Data, and other engineering teams to connect technical decisions with patient, business, and growth outcomes.
- Lead architecture across complex, interconnected systems and raise the team’s technical and product bar.
Requirements
- Strong technical judgment and a demonstrated track record of impact on complex problems.
- Deep backend engineering and systems design expertise across services, APIs, data flows, dependencies, and architectural boundaries.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to connect technical decisions to patient, growth, and business outcomes.
- Experience leading technical work for consumer-facing growth experiences such as acquisition, onboarding, conversion, merchandising, subscriptions, retention, or renewal.
- Experience leading architecture across complex systems and influencing technical direction across organizational boundaries.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, cross-functional environments and drive complex technical work forward.
- Experience with healthcare, commerce, or another regulated or data-sensitive domain is a plus.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python or comparable programming languages.

- Target base salary ranges from $223,100 to $311,000, plus competitive equity and benefits.
