Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java/Spring and Python.
- Build software across the full lifecycle, including frontend development where needed, automated testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and requirements translation.
- Design and maintain observability integrations and custom monitoring solutions using enterprise monitoring, telemetry, and ITSM platforms.
- Develop telemetry pipelines, health checks, synthetic monitoring, instrumentation, and self-healing automation.
- Build and maintain containerized delivery and deployment pipelines for secure code promotion across environments.
- Apply secure software development practices, vulnerability scanning, test-driven approaches, automated test coverage, and coding and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools and emerging AI capabilities to accelerate development and improve solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs with Java/Spring and Python.
- Experience with observability integrations, monitoring, telemetry, health checks, synthetic monitoring, or self-healing automation.
- Experience integrating enterprise monitoring, telemetry, and ITSM platforms.
- Experience with containerized delivery and deployment pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD platforms.
- Knowledge of software quality, secure development, automated testing, vulnerability scanning, peer review, and architectural standards.
- Ability to collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools or emerging AI capabilities is relevant to the role.
