Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, and research capabilities across data integration and database technologies.
  • Lead technical analyses and provide viable recommendations for Enterprise Mobility solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and represent the team within and outside the department.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to less-senior team members while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitor key performance metrics for compliance with established standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify process, standardization, and architectural improvement opportunities and partner with developers and architects on implementation.
  • Support secure, scalable, reliable, and compliant database platform services.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, BASH shell, KSH, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of JSON, including creating, parsing, validating, and troubleshooting payloads for configuration files, APIs, or system integrations.
  • Experience with networking and firewall configurations.
  • Experience working with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems, including reading log files.
  • Experience protecting confidential and highly confidential database content.
  • Experience with full-lifecycle development and end-to-end testing.
  • Commitment to incorporating security into technical decisions and daily responsibilities.
  • Preferred: 3 or more years of combined experience with multiple relational database management systems, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
  • Preferred: experience with data integration products and data lake or data warehouse platforms.
  • Preferred: experience leading innovative or large initiatives.
  • Preferred: knowledge and working experience with Agile methodologies, database encryption, Amazon and Azure cloud solutions, project management, PCI or other IT security compliance standards, and data governance best practices.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship.
  • Must reside in the United States excluding Alaska and Hawaii and work during U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
