Base Salary
$130k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build security-critical infrastructure for Starlink
- Develop security features for Starlink routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites
- Design security into factory processes and provide supporting network services
- Maintain production systems and improve their security posture through implementation and recommendations
- Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements
- Support secure and reliable Internet access for underserved communities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another STEM discipline
- Graduation in the class of 2026 or 2027
- Experience with at least one software development language, such as Python, C++, or Golang
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or other enterprise-scale infrastructure
- Preferred experience designing secure systems and contributing security improvements to complex systems
- Preferred experience with Trusted Platform Modules and Hardware Security Modules
- Preferred skills in applied cryptography, network security, operating system security, secure or authenticated boot, incident response, adversary detection, or vulnerability research
- Advanced degree in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR work authorization requirements
