Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of Windows and Linux production servers, including provisioning, configuration, patching, hardening, monitoring, and decommissioning.
- Maintain high availability, resolve production incidents, and monitor uptime, performance, capacity, infrastructure costs, access controls, firewall rules, certificates, networking, storage, and database connectivity.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, remediation activities, and infrastructure security improvements.
- Own production backup policies, retention, monitoring, recovery testing, disaster recovery procedures, and RTO/RPO targets.
- Manage staging, UAT, and production hosting environments, including deployments, rollback procedures, deployment windows, and infrastructure changes.
- Support CI/CD tooling, deployment automation, operating-system and application dependency upgrades, and cloud or hybrid-cloud modernization planning.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on Linux administration and Windows Server/IIS administration experience.
- Experience managing high-availability production environments, enterprise backups, disaster recovery, production incidents, deployment pipelines, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, network segmentation, access controls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure security.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with familiarity with .NET and JavaScript-based application environments.
- Experience with Microsoft TFS or similar deployment and automation tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 requirements and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
