Responsibilities
- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Lead application design efforts to align with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert, manage team activities, and make team decisions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and provide solutions to immediate-team and cross-team problems.
- Develop and implement data security, privacy, lifecycle management, and governance strategies.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, mentor team members, and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in data governance.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in data governance, including data quality frameworks and data management compliance requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing policies for data security, privacy, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyze complex data environments and recommend governance strategies.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms supporting data cataloging, metadata management, and data stewardship.
- Ability to integrate data governance practices into software development processes through cross-functional collaboration.
