Responsibilities
- Collaborate with public cloud partner product, engineering, and alliance teams on open-source strategies
- Clarify Canonical product requirements and ensure planned delivery is executed
- Maintain engineering relationships to integrate and optimize Ubuntu on public clouds
- Act as product champion and point of contact for named cloud partners
- Coordinate messaging, content creation, and launch plans with marketing and product teams
- Create partner- and customer-facing webinars, presentations, videos, and white papers
- Drive Ubuntu adoption across cloud products and advocate its benefits to stakeholders
- Deliver first-party offerings with subscription components through cloud providers
- Lead efforts to make Canonical products the default foundation for cloud partners and accelerate end-user adoption
Requirements
- Working understanding and strong interest in public cloud technologies
- Exceptional academic track record and an undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about an alternative chosen path
- Track record of delivering beyond expectations and meeting commitments
- Commitment to leadership, skills development, and mentorship
- Passion for technology through personal and professional pursuits
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
- Outstanding business English writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural, multinational organization
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks
- Nice-to-have experience with Linux, Debian or Ubuntu, Azure, AWS, GCP, containers, and open source technologies
- Nice-to-have product management, strategic partner management or development, and marketing or go-to-market strategy experience
