Base Salary
$110k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of AI-driven applications and systems focused on large language models.
- Research, evaluate, design, document, deploy, monitor, and support AI technologies, applications, automations, and processes.
- Clarify AI system requirements with business owners and integrate AI functionality into existing systems.
- Serve as technical lead on larger IT projects, facilitate requirements meetings, and contribute to AI strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and educate professionals on AI best practices and issue resolution.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain development and deployment best practices, and support application quality and security.
- Provide secondary after-hours support and Level IV support for specific applications, escalating critical issues and resolving operational problems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred.
- Four or more years of experience developing applications or automations using various technologies is required.
- Experience with at least two development areas, including frontend, backend, web design, database, SQL, NoSQL, cloud, or business intelligence technologies, is required.
- One or more years of cloud technology experience, REST and other API experience, technical leadership on large IT projects, software development methodology experience, and AI/machine learning experience are preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, source control, Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code, Entity Framework, and HTTP debugging tools is preferred.
- Microsoft developer certifications and AI or machine learning certifications are preferred.
- Strong software architecture, design, project leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, documentation, and clean-code skills are required.
