Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers developing digital signal-processing algorithms and defense capabilities.
- Develop software using MATLAB, CUDA/OpenCL, Python, and C/C++ in Linux/UNIX or Windows environments.
- Apply signal-processing techniques to radar, electronic warfare, software-defined radios, digital communications, and RF signal-processing chains.
- Develop and optimize real-time AI/ML signal-processing solutions, including denoising, classification, source separation, and anomaly detection.
- Provide technical leadership on defense projects and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply-chain, leadership, and external partners.
- Contribute to embedded, FPGA, GPU, SoC, and DSP development for hardware-based systems.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering with 12 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 7 years.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Experience serving as a technical lead on a defense project.
- Experience developing software using the Agile methodology.
- Preferred proficiency in MATLAB with a digital signal-processing focus.
- Preferred proficiency in embedded software, FPGA, AI/ML design, C/C++, Python, and embedded software design in Linux/UNIX environments.
- Preferred experience with low-SWAP FPGA design, digital communication systems, RF signal-processing chains, AI/ML, GPU development, embedded SoCs or DSPs, VHDL or Verilog, HDL verification tools, and Xilinx, Altera/Intel, or Microsemi FPGAs.
