Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full stack features using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
- Build responsive and accessible interfaces for patients and healthcare providers.
- Develop scalable backend services with authentication, authorization, and HIPAA-compliant audit logging.
- Create reusable React components, maintain consistent design patterns, and optimize frontend performance.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across the technology stack.
- Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into production-ready features.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
- Participate in frontend and backend architecture decisions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance for minimal downtime.
- Deploy applications using AWS services including S3, CloudFront, Route 53, App Runner, and Fargate.
- Maintain documentation for APIs, component libraries, and architectural decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 4+ years of full stack development experience, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript across frontend and backend environments.
- Expertise with React, Next.js, Webpack, or Vite, plus Node.js, Express, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with MongoDB, Mongoose, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with responsive design, CSS-in-JS solutions, frontend performance optimization, and secure authentication and authorization.
- Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
- Preferred experience includes FHIR, HL7, DICOM, HIPAA compliance, Docker, AWS, cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, server-side rendering, OCR, LLM integrations, WCAG, and inclusive design.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
