Responsibilities
- Design and implement full stack features using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
- Build responsive, accessible frontend interfaces for patients and healthcare providers.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with authentication and HIPAA compliance.
- Create reusable React components and maintain consistent design patterns.
- Implement state management solutions and optimize frontend performance.
- Write comprehensive tests across the stack, including unit and integration tests.
- Align with UI/UX designs to translate prototypes into production-ready features.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to integrate analytics capabilities.
- Participate in architecture decisions impacting frontend and backend systems.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
- Leverage AWS services for deployment and maintain clear documentation.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline with 4+ years of full stack development experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript across frontend and backend environments.
- Expertise with React, Next.js, and modern frontend build tools.
- Proven experience with Node.js, Express, and RESTful API development.
- Solid understanding of MongoDB and PostgreSQL database systems.
- Experience with responsive design and frontend performance optimization.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks including Jest and Cypress.
- Understanding of web security best practices and secure authentication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug issues across the stack.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
