Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the GKE Platform Security team to address emerging infrastructure risks.
- Conduct Kubernetes security reviews, research and reproduce vulnerabilities, and build threat models for next-generation features.
- Establish secure operational practices and provide security guidance to engineering teams.
- Conduct ongoing design reviews to identify security gaps and collaborate on long-term threat detection strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
- Eight years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
- Eight years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
- Two years of experience working with Kubernetes.
- Experience in cloud systems and contributions to open source software are preferred.

- US base salary of $207000-$300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
