Responsibilities
- Extend and maintain a shared UI component library used by more than 1,000 developers.
- Build advanced Angular features and patterns with strong accessibility, state management, scalability, and performance.
- Automate repetitive tasks with Angular Schematics and contribute to developer platform workflows and templates.
- Collaborate with Design, Marketing, Engineering, and BFF/backend teams on frontend platform capabilities and API integrations.
- Provide third-level support and onboarding guidance while coordinating versioned updates across Allianz.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, and open-source library contributions.
- Use AI coding tools for implementation, test generation, documentation, and refactoring with proper verification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Angular and TypeScript, including components, services, routing, dependency injection, Angular CLI, and Schematics.
- Experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade UI component libraries or design systems with WCAG AA accessibility.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress and with CI/CD practices.
- Strong Git fundamentals, excellent written and verbal English communication skills, and the ability to support cross-team onboarding and platform-wide updates.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and practical applications.
