Responsibilities
- Design and build user-centric, performant, secure, and scalable web applications for Cisco’s IIoT management portfolio.
- Develop React-based frontend experiences with exposure to Java backend technologies.
- Lead UI initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical discussions.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and JWT-based authentication.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional Agile teams.
- Apply unit testing, debugging, verification, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Work on IIoT networking use cases involving L2 and L3 protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of experience or a master’s degree with 6–10 years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Angular.js, and modern UI development principles.
- Experience with REST APIs, JWT-based authentication, and frontend integration.
- Knowledge of Jest, Enzyme, unit testing, and test coverage practices.
- Familiarity with Git, Webpack, Babel, NPM, and modern development workflows.
- Understanding of secure coding, performance optimization, and scalable UI architecture.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and automation practices.
- Preferred experience with debugging and verification methodologies, L2/L3 protocols, and Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
