Base Salary
$230k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build sandboxed, isolated, and reproducible execution environments for AI agents.
- Develop orchestration systems for multi-step, tool-using agent workflows.
- Build infrastructure for running, testing, and debugging code generated by models.
- Create state and memory systems for preserving context across long-running tasks.
- Optimize token usage, latency, reliability, and cost across the production fleet.
- Support model rollouts and capacity planning for frontier agents at scale.
- Build shared platform capabilities for product teams, partner teams, and open source Codex.
Requirements
- Strong experience in distributed systems or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience building systems involving containers, sandboxing, or virtualization.
- Comfort working across backend systems, APIs, and developer tooling.
- Focus on system reliability, performance, and security.
- Bonus experience with code execution platforms, CI/CD systems, or build systems.
- Bonus familiarity with LLMs, agents, or tool-use frameworks.
- Bonus background in security engineering, isolation systems, developer platforms, IDE tooling, or open source infrastructure.
