Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engineer high-fidelity detections end to end while keeping false positives low.
- Lead partners through threat modeling and logging to deploy actionable alerts.
- Develop security data pipelines and contribute to internal software and data platforms.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain healthy detection and response services.
- Partner across Roblox to protect its community and enterprise and foster a security culture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in security data engineering.
- Experience building efficient, reliable, and scalable services using Golang or Python.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and query languages such as SQL.
- Ability to prioritize risk, design compensating controls, and drive incidents through root-cause mitigation.
- Comfort working in shared codebases and submitting GitHub pull requests.
- Ability to evaluate and use open-source, commercial, and custom in-house tools.
