Base Salary
$90k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative features and functionality for Light & Wonder products, utilities, and tools.
- Research technologies to modernize and improve existing products.
- Refactor, improve, and optimize the existing codebase.
- Design and build libraries shared with other Light & Wonder products.
- Apply secure coding guidelines, test-driven development, and continuous integration practices.
- Debug software and provide prompt resolution to bugs and issues.
- Design, develop, test, and integrate software products as part of a global engineering team.
Requirements
- Demonstrable knowledge of C# and C++.
- Knowledge of client-server architecture basics.
- Demonstrable knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and principles.
- Familiarity with database architecture.
- Comfort using IDEs, compilers, debuggers, profilers, and version control systems.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Gaming industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Preferred: demonstrable knowledge of SQL query writing.
- Preferred: familiarity with Web UI design and operating-system basics.
- Preferred: knowledge of PowerShell.
- Preferred: familiarity with Visual Studio, Perforce, Git, and Jira.
