Responsibilities
- Design, develop, verify, validate, maintain, improve, and extend computer vision pipelines and core computer vision software across multiple missions.
- Integrate vision algorithms on low-power, space-grade hardware.
- Research and develop new vision technologies using different sensor types and platforms.
- Document processes, designs, and test specifications.
Requirements
- Experience with classical computer vision and deep learning, including 6D object pose estimation and domain adaptation.
- Knowledge of single- and multi-view geometry, visual odometry, camera calibration, and 3D reconstruction.
- Strong software engineering skills in C/C++ and Python or Matlab for prototyping.
- Experience with physically based rendering, radiometry, photometry, FPGA development/integration using Xilinx Vitis/Vivado, or embedded systems is advantageous.
