Base Salary
$112k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product and technical initiatives end to end, from problem definition through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build and support production software across frontend and backend using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Improve acquisition and application funnel conversion through experimentation, analytics, instrumentation, and frontend monitoring.
- Partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to make tradeoffs and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Set engineering standards through implementation, contribute to architecture, review code, and mentor other engineers.
- Own or contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, production support, and reliability improvements.
- Handle regulated or sensitive PII/PIFI data responsibly.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when applicable, including possible nights and weekends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building, shipping, and supporting production software with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Full-stack engineering experience owning features across frontend and backend.
- Ability to make architectural decisions and practical technical tradeoffs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, production monitoring and observability, and post-production support.
- Experience handling regulated or sensitive data such as PII/PIFI responsibly.
- Strong product mindset, end-to-end ownership, bias toward action, pragmatic judgment, and clear communication.
