Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Write maintainable C# and JavaScript/TypeScript code for automated testing and QA tooling.
- Build internal tools and utilities that improve QA efficiency and test coverage.
- Develop end-to-end, integration, performance, and load-testing solutions.
- Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and quality gates.
- Partner with QA engineers, developers, and product teams to adopt automation tools and practices.
- Use AI tools and techniques to improve test generation, defect detection, root cause analysis, and test optimization.
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions that improve reliability and performance.
- Contribute to test strategy through scalable, code-driven quality engineering approaches.
- Mentor QA engineers and developers and drive improvements in automation standards and engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, SDET, or automation engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in C# and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Experience building automation frameworks, tools, or developer-centric testing solutions.
- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and testability.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience applying AI/ML or AI-assisted development tools to testing or engineering workflows.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Preferred experience with .NET, ASP.NET, modern backend development, QA tooling platforms, Azure, performance and load-testing frameworks, and Angular.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
