Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of internal customer problems and translate insights into product direction.
- Onboard new teams onto the Asset Intelligence Platform and support established users.
- Read and review code, write scripts or prototypes, work with APIs and data models, and contribute to architecture discussions.
- Evaluate tradeoffs, assess impact, and prioritize work based on customer and business value.
- Communicate the platform’s technical capabilities and business value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help evolve the platform as infrastructure and stakeholder needs change.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience combining technical depth with customer or product engagement, such as solutions engineering, technical product management, application engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and platform engineering, including data centers, cloud environments, networking, compute, and services built on them.
- Technical fluency in code review, scripting or prototyping, APIs, data models, and architecture discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to build customer trust, understand needs, and communicate solutions clearly.
- Strong product judgment and ability to evaluate tradeoffs, assess impact, and prioritize by customer and business value.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an international degree equivalent.
- Familiarity with asset management, configuration management, or CMDB tools is preferred.
- Exposure to security, privacy, and compliance frameworks is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively amid ambiguity and across evolving responsibilities is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
