Responsibilities
- Develop and operate scalable, reliable, and maintainable service-based software and related components.
- Improve system scalability and observability.
- Propose and prototype solutions for software development and monitoring.
- Profile and tune the performance of critical components.
- Improve system quality through test automation and related tooling.
- Participate in brainstorming and contribute ideas related to technology, algorithms, and products.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proficiency building web services on Linux.
- Strong skills in at least one of Python, Go, or Java, plus basic Python proficiency.
- Understanding of network API design principles such as REST or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Familiarity with Git and basic Git operations.
- Experience setting up Linux-based application runtime environments and optimizing machine resource utilization.
- Experience with simple coding tests and open-source contributions.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, performance profiling and debugging experience, high-performance Linux network service development, distributed systems and algorithms knowledge, HTML and JavaScript familiarity, and experience with Nginx, HAProxy, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Drone, ArgoCD, AWS, GCP, cloud managed services, and distributed computing frameworks.

- Internship commitment of 2–4 days or 16–32 hours per week for a minimum of six months.
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring work in the Taiwan office; the position cannot be fully remote.
