Responsibilities
- Build data ingestion pipelines from field capture, teleoperation, and other sources.
- Develop automated data validation systems to identify quality issues before annotation or training.
- Build annotation ingestion, tooling, and workflows to improve labeling efficiency and throughput.
- Own data quality and diversity systems, metrics, and collection priorities.
- Develop automated annotation methods using computer vision and vision-language models.
- Support live pipelines through debugging, instrumentation, and observability improvements.
- Collaborate directly with research and annotation partners who depend on the platform.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience building production systems.
- Strong programming fundamentals and ability to work across services, data pipelines, and applied ML tooling.
- Experience with real-time or large-scale data pipelines, ML data workflows, computer vision, or data infrastructure.
- Experience taking features or systems from prototype to production and supporting them in the field.
- Clear communication and close collaboration with product, research, annotation, and operations partners.
- Hands-on sensor-data experience with video, depth, IMU, or force/torque data and related processing infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience with streaming or near-real-time data pipelines is a plus.
- Familiarity with ML datasets, labeling, and evaluation workflows is a plus.
- Experience running or integrating computer vision or vision-language models is a plus.
