Responsibilities
- Own solution architecture and technical design for ingestion, enrichment, knowledge graph, retrieval, and lifecycle-management capabilities.
- Lead enterprise ontology, semantic model, taxonomy, and metadata standards across business domains.
- Architect and deliver trusted, governed, reusable, AI-ready enterprise knowledge products.
- Build governance and guardrail controls covering provenance, lineage, access, classification, permissions, and auditability.
- Integrate knowledge platforms with LLM gateways, agent frameworks, evaluation services, and orchestration systems for RAG, GraphRAG, and agentic AI.
- Establish reusable engineering patterns and quality standards, conduct design and code reviews, and mentor Staff and Senior Engineers.
- Collaborate with governance leads, SMEs, product owners, engineering teams, platform teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in knowledge graphs, ontology engineering, semantic modelling, taxonomy, and metadata management.
- Strong experience with unstructured-data processing, document understanding, information extraction, entity resolution, and knowledge-enrichment pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, GraphRAG, vector databases, search technologies, and retrieval optimisation.
- Experience with RDF, OWL, SKOS, SPARQL, Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, and graph modelling concepts.
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, observable, secure, cloud-native enterprise knowledge platforms.
- Knowledge of governance, data governance, lineage, provenance, access control, compliance, classification, and auditability frameworks.
- Experience designing AI guardrails, retrieval controls, policy-aware access mechanisms, LLM integrations, agent frameworks, evaluation frameworks, and model orchestration services.
- Ability to implement policy-as-code, executable knowledge, rules engines, and deterministic decisioning patterns; experience with BPMN, DMN, and policy engines is desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with TypeScript/Node.js and SQL for platform engineering, APIs, data pipelines, and AI integrations.
- Knowledge of risk, compliance, regulatory, and control frameworks in financial services is advantageous.
- Familiarity with agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration, MCP patterns, tool-based reasoning, process intelligence, process mining, business capability modelling, and decision modelling is desirable.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder engagement, product thinking, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline; relevant AWS, AI/ML, or Generative AI certifications are advantageous.
