Responsibilities
- Architect, maintain, and evolve complex software systems and refactor existing codebases for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Develop high-performance Rust software for real-time tactical systems, simulation environments, and decision-support tools.
- Apply software design patterns and architectural best practices to manage technical debt and guide production-system evolution.
- Build software supporting next-generation hardware platforms powered by System-on-Chip devices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of production-grade Rust experience in a Linux development environment.
- Experience building software involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Experience with network protocols and strong familiarity with networking fundamentals.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly.
- Ability to possess and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Embedded-platform experience is preferred.
- Production Rust codebase refactoring, architectural decision-making, technical leadership, open-source Rust contributions, and concurrent or parallel programming experience are preferred.
