Responsibilities
- Define and implement DevOps and DevSecOps standards, tooling, and automated deployment patterns across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using enterprise DevOps platforms and create reusable deployment templates and scripts.
- Design, provision, and support scalable cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Deploy, scale, and support Docker and Kubernetes-based containerized and microservices architectures.
- Integrate automated testing, quality gates, security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance requirements into pipelines.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, monitoring, logging, alerting, operational readiness, and post-incident reviews.
- Coach developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and platform teams on DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
- Develop documentation, runbooks, standards, training materials, workshops, maturity assessments, and improvement roadmaps.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is essential.
- At least 1 year of experience in a senior DevOps, DevSecOps, DevOps-focused programming, or similar role with exposure to software development and IT operations is required.
- Extensive experience with DevOps and SDLC tools, processes, and methodologies is required.
- Strong experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using enterprise DevOps platforms is required.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation and AWS and/or Azure cloud environments is required.
- Proficiency in YAML, Bash, PowerShell, or Python is required.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies is required.
- Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS are beneficial.
- AWS, Azure DevOps, or cloud certifications; Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and AKS experience; Linux administration and networking knowledge; production observability experience; and cloud cost optimization or capacity planning experience are beneficial.
