Responsibilities
- Ship software for Bridge’s suite of reliable, performant, mission-critical API products.
- Take sole ownership of projects and collaborate with legal, compliance, partners, and developers.
- Continuously improve products for partners and end users.
- Make tradeoffs across business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundations.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience; the company is open to candidates from SWE through Senior Staff levels.
- Experience building backend systems with SQL databases.
- Experience with Rails, Django, Express, or an equivalent framework is a bonus.
- Strong ownership and the ability to lead and influence product design and direction.
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested, modular code while moving pragmatically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear technical documentation.
- Experience with crypto or financial products is a plus.
- Experience building API products is a plus.
- Experience with blockchain or distributed systems is a strong plus.
