Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of DevOps workflows for cloud-native applications and enterprise infrastructure.
- Automate development and operational workflows using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, security, and developer tooling.
- Architect, design, and deploy AWS cloud-native applications and define best practices for deployment, infrastructure maintenance, and cloud service management.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams while promoting cloud competencies and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize work, manage dependencies, align stakeholders, and communicate technical direction to technical and non-technical client audiences.
- Evaluate and implement new cloud tools and technologies and help modernize legacy applications.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps engineering, including at least 5+ years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Expertise with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code for scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Extensive AWS cloud architecture and deployment experience, plus in-depth knowledge of Docker and preferably Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or comparable tools.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on architecture, features, and complex technical problems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, development methodologies, and agile practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Desired qualifications include CloudFormation, CDK, Helm, cloud migration and modernization, AWS IAM, HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, AWS Aurora, DynamoDB, Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, AWS Lambda, AWS Bedrock, LLM gateways, AWS AgentCore, LangChain, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor experience.
