Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and scale AWS infrastructure for the company’s microservices platform.
- Develop and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Create reusable, templated deployment and pipeline configurations using Helm charts and CircleCI orbs.
- Manage infrastructure through code with application-code-level rigor.
- Improve observability and monitoring for production systems.
- Partner with product engineering teams to explain platform concepts and reduce development friction.
- Document technical trade-offs and grow into leading complex platform projects end to end.
Requirements
- Comfort working with AWS and its core services.
- Experience using observability or monitoring tools such as Datadog.
- Proficiency with at least one scripting or programming language.
- Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform, or willingness to learn it.
- Experience helping run and scale infrastructure.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to communicate complex platform concepts, evaluate trade-offs, take ownership, and learn new tools.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
- Preferred experience includes Helm, Kubernetes or other container orchestration, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Istio, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Datadog or another APM/observability tool, database operations, microservices design and deployment, security, release engineering, or QA.

- Annual base salary range of $122,000-$129,200.
