Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cross-frontend and backend software improvements across StubHub platforms and products.
- Build and operate robust, mission-critical, high-throughput systems supporting large-ticket seller operations and dynamic datasets.
- Own projects from initial idea through production while managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with teammates to promote software engineering best practices.
- Mentor team members and help junior engineers grow their technical capabilities.
Requirements
- 5–6+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolsets or framework ecosystems.
- Extensive experience with multiple general-purpose programming languages, such as Java and C#.
- Expertise in at least one of infrastructure, databases, data processing, machine learning, distributed systems, security, or privacy.
- Experience designing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact.
- Understanding of how systems interact with the broader production environment, dependencies, and platform primitives.
- Ability to learn additional coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools.
- Experience owning projects from initial idea through production.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
