Responsibilities
- Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Expand test automation and improve QA efficiency.
- Validate calculations, formulas, financial data, reports, dashboards, data transformations, imports, submissions, integrations, APIs, and database-driven functionality.
- Investigate, reproduce, document, and track defects using Jira, and verify fixes with developers.
- Participate in requirements and refinement sessions to identify quality risks early.
- Contribute to QA processes, standards, best practices, test documentation, release testing, and pre-production recommendations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software QA or software testing.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test cases, defect management, regression testing, integration testing, and software development life cycles.
- Practical experience with test automation and testing web-based applications.
- Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Understanding of financial or business concepts and numerical data.
- Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
