Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Python frameworks.
- Build and integrate backend services, data pipelines, and enterprise application components.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, data engineers, and UI/UX developers on end-to-end solutions.
- Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes within Agile environments.
- Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and integration challenges across distributed systems.
- Support cloud-native deployments, containerization, and secure software development practices.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph are required.
- Requires 2–5 years of experience.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience developing applications with Java and Python is required.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, web services, backend integrations, and SQL-based applications is required.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Git, version control systems, and Agile software development is required.
- Preferred experience includes Spring Boot, Flask, FastAPI, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Preferred qualifications include DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation, microservices, event-driven systems, API gateways, secure coding, RMF principles, Security+ certification, and DoD, intelligence, or federal program experience.

- The listed Washington, DC metropolitan area base-pay range is $140,000.00–$187,000.00–$205,700.00 annually; other locations may have different ranges based on geographic labor costs.
