Responsibilities
- Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue-resolution recommendations for cybersecurity solutions.
- Support security solutions involving networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security.
- Assist experienced staff with security consulting and moderately complex projects addressing data access, integrity, confidentiality, and business continuity.
- Review system security issues and procedures and support testing, emergencies, installations, and conversions.
- Participate in training, group projects, professional development, coaching, networking, and exposure to technology leaders.
Requirements
- At least six months of work experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or another technology STEM major, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Knowledge, interest, or experience with Java, cloud technology, .NET, Python, SQL, or related cybersecurity skills, techniques, and tools.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and responsible use, including crafting prompts, validating outputs, and applying AI tools to cybersecurity tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a change-driven environment and demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Prior engineering internship experience and involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities are desired.
- Must pass the required technology skills assessment.
