Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases against project requirements and test plans.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps using issue-tracking tools.
- Follow up with development and support teams to ensure timely defect resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other team members to clarify requirements.
- Report test progress, issues, and risks to the Test Lead and support management and stakeholder reporting.
- Suggest improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Prepare and execute comprehensive system-level test plans, procedures, schedules, and integrated testing activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Good understanding of the banking and financial-services domain.
- Experience with manual and automation testing tools, including Microsoft Playwright.
- Familiarity with JIRA and TestRail.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience with banking or financial-system development, team environments, offshore teams, or Japanese clients is preferred.
- Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
