Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, cross-browser, load, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla.
- Conduct API testing and maintain test environments and test data.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers on product quality.
- Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on testability and risks.
- Keep current with software testing trends, tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with cross-browser testing using BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar load and performance testing tools.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Hands-on API testing experience with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Ability to write test scripts in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Preferred experience includes mobile application testing on iOS or Android, security testing, and ISTQB certification or equivalent.
