Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable Python backend services supporting AI-powered compliance workflows, transcription, search, analytics, and user-facing applications.
- Build modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Develop REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and data pipelines.
- Build, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices, including AWS CDK.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL and related data-storage solutions.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using Selenium, Playwright, and TypeScript-based automation frameworks.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform scalability, reliability, performance, and quality.
- Partner with Product, Compliance, Data Science, and Engineering teams and contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience developing applications with Python.
- Experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with microservices architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, API design, relational databases, PostgreSQL, scalable software solutions, and distributed systems.
- Experience working in cloud-native SaaS environments and Agile software development environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to work across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and testing disciplines and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Preferred experience includes AWS CDK, Amazon EKS, Redis or Valkey, Selenium, Playwright, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AI, NLP, transcription, chat, search, compliance, financial services, surveillance, or regulatory technology platforms.
