Responsibilities

Develop embedded C/C++ firmware for intelligent lighting and guest room control systems.
Design, test, optimize, and debug firmware controlling lighting, HVAC, motorized shades, occupancy sensing, thermostats, relays, touch panels, and related in-room products.
Integrate DALI, DMX, RS-485, Modbus, and 0-10V communication protocols with room and building systems.
Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and firmware troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab tools.
Develop touch-based user interfaces and work with microcontrollers, RTOS environments, and resource-constrained systems.
Work with cloud platforms and voice-assistant protocols including Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Author design documentation, installation manuals, and test procedures.
Implement testing to verify performance, security, safety, EMI, and reliability requirements.
Troubleshoot firmware and hardware issues and ensure products meet UL, FCC, and CE standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technologies, or Computer Science.
At least 3 years of experience in embedded firmware or hardware.
Experience with microcontrollers such as STM32, NXP, or Silicon Labs and embedded C/C++.
Familiarity with guest room control systems and lighting protocols such as DALI, DMX, and 0-10V is an asset.
Experience with low-voltage systems, including 24VDC and 120/277VAC interfaces.
Proficiency debugging hardware and firmware with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Familiarity with Silicon Labs microcontrollers, Zigbee stacks such as EmberZNet PRO, and Atmel touch-enabled microcontrollers is valuable.
Embedded Linux knowledge is an asset.
