Responsibilities

  • Scope and perform penetration tests through planning, reporting, and remediation support.
  • Conduct hands-on testing of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, thick clients, internal infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, and network segmentation.
  • Review, reproduce, and validate potential vulnerabilities from AI-assisted code reviews and automated security tools.
  • Assess exploitability, business impact, severity, remediation priority, and false positives.
  • Perform secure code reviews, targeted manual testing, cloud penetration testing, and identity and privilege-escalation analysis.
  • Communicate technical findings with reproduction steps, realistic attack scenarios, and practical remediation guidance.
  • Support engineering and infrastructure teams in remediating and closing security findings.
  • Evaluate AI and ML systems, conduct security research, and assess systems against PCI DSS requirements.

Requirements

  • At least five years of hands-on penetration testing experience, including managing assessments from scoping through reporting and remediation support.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more penetration testing domains, including network, cloud, web application, mobile, or thick-client testing, with the ability to work across multiple domains.
  • Knowledge of application and network security, cloud environments, identity flows, attacker techniques, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Experience with PTES and OWASP testing approaches.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
  • Strong writing, communication, attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Security certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, or GPEN are preferred.
