Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Build automated functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
  • Define automation architecture, coding standards, reusable components, and testing patterns.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve execution reliability.
  • Diagnose flaky tests and complex automation, environment, test-data, and integration failures.
  • Apply Agentic AI and LLM capabilities to test generation, maintenance, failure analysis, regression selection, and AI application evaluation.
  • Develop evaluation strategies involving LLM response validation, hallucination detection, prompt evaluation, rubrics, golden datasets, and quality metrics.
  • Create reusable automation utilities, libraries, AI agents, and QE tools for use across teams.
  • Contribute to performance, reliability, and scalability testing and monitor automation effectiveness.
  • Participate in architecture and code reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of software test automation or quality engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript and/or JavaScript, including enterprise-scale Playwright automation.
  • Experience designing automation frameworks and architecture, migrating from Selenium to Playwright, and using BDD/Gherkin.
  • Strong understanding of UI, API, integration, end-to-end, contract, risk-based, and test-coverage practices.
  • Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  • Experience with API automation, performance/load testing, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and test management or defect tools.
  • Experience with Generative AI/LLM application testing, AI agents, MCP integrations, prompt and RAG evaluation, embeddings, vector databases, golden datasets, and AI-assisted automation.
  • Experience using AI coding or testing assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT is relevant.
  • Strong debugging, communication, collaboration, independent problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
