Responsibilities
- Analyze business and system requirements for testability and define comprehensive test plans.
- Develop, document, execute, and maintain test cases and test data.
- Perform SQL query writing, database validation, API testing, automation support, and test-result analysis.
- Report and track defects, conduct defect triage, and assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Apply risk-based testing techniques and write behavior-focused test cases to facilitate automation.
- Support application development, implementation, environmental issue resolution, and user training.
- Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, demos, retrospectives, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to test strategy, communities of practice, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL query writing and database validation skills.
- Advanced experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Intermediate ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate team-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Four to six years of experience with API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools.
- Four to six years of experience with defect triage and root-cause analysis.
- Four to six years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes.
- Four to six years of experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Java, TestNG, or similar.
- Four to six years of experience with test management tools such as Rally or JIRA.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
