Responsibilities
- Research, design, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and productionize models for Labhouse products.
- Own the full model lifecycle, including data curation, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and scaling.
- Define and track quality metrics and continuously improve model accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers to integrate models into applications.
- Apply current AI research and tools to real product problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent depth through work in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience training or fine-tuning deep learning models used in production.
- Strong Python skills and experience with machine learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch or JAX.
- Understanding of data pipelines, experiment tracking, evaluation, deployment, scaling, and modern model architectures.
- Ability to work autonomously, make decisions under uncertainty, communicate technical decisions clearly, and collaborate effectively.
- Experience with the Hugging Face ecosystem is a strong plus.
- Experience with vision, audio, NLP, multimodal models, on-device inference optimization, mobile or production integration, published research, or open-source ML contributions is preferred.
