Base Salary
$155k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Eliminate operational toil by building self-service platform modules and tooling for service provisioning, deployments, and issue resolution.
- Own and evolve the Terraform estate, including shared modules, state and versioning management, and migrations.
- Build and maintain the internal developer platform and delivery automation using GitHub Actions, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, and AI agents.
- Operate the AWS platform, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, CloudFront, IAM, SSO, and Secrets Manager.
- Drive reliability through Datadog monitoring, on-call participation, incident response, and platform health ownership.
- Optimize cloud platform costs and advise teams deploying ML workflows, real-time events, and video streaming systems.
- Provide technical leadership through RFCs, design reviews, code reviews, architecture guidance, and mentorship without direct reports.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the ability to write production-quality code.
- Solid knowledge of IAM, SSO, and observability tooling.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Preferred: experience with internal developer platforms, developer experience improvements, Python, LLM or AI agents, Datadog-as-code, AWS Organizations, policy as code, and security posture work.
