Base Salary
$155k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support applications for equity derivatives pricing, execution, request-for-quote workflows, derived data management, and analytics.
- Work closely with traders, sales, strats, and quantitative teams to understand workflows and identify technology opportunities.
- Lead complex technology projects and strategic initiatives from concept through delivery.
- Gather requirements, influence strategy, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop resilient, fault-tolerant, and well-tested applications.
- Build strong partnerships with business and technology stakeholders through regular trading-floor engagement.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Java development experience.
- Proven experience leading complex technology projects and delivering business-critical solutions.
- Strong system design and architecture skills.
- Experience building resilient, fault-tolerant, and well-tested applications.
- Understanding of cloud-based platforms and distributed systems.
- Strong Linux fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
- Preferred: knowledge of equity derivatives products and pricing methodologies.
- Preferred: experience working directly with sales, traders, strats, and quantitative teams.
- Preferred: experience with reactive and event-driven architectures, modern web development, authentication and authorization frameworks, GitHub, and modern Java 21+.

- Expected base pay is $155,000 to $215,000 per year, with potential additional commission, incentive compensation, bonuses, and other benefit programs.
