Responsibilities
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Build, implement, and deliver automation, APIs, CLI tools, and custom security tooling.
- Automate security checks and improve security, quality, and operational processes.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and resources using infrastructure-as-code technologies.
- Test services with unit, integration, behavioral, and user acceptance testing.
- Document solutions and maintain software lifecycle artifacts for future use and extension.
- Integrate security measures into development lifecycles and existing tooling.
- Communicate technical concepts through reports, presentations, documentation, and demonstrations.
- Investigate production issues, estimate and plan work, and maintain the backlog.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners while providing feedback and progress updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience creating design documents and maintaining a complete software development lifecycle.
- Proven experience with Python 3.7+, VueJS 2 or 3, API development, and CLI tool development.
- Experience with unit, integration, and behavioral testing.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, cloud hosting solutions, and AWS preferred.
- Experience with PowerShell and/or Bash scripting, containerization, software architectures, and RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git repository management, GitLab or Git, static analysis tooling, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Azure or Graph API is a bonus.
- Good understanding of UI/UX, security vulnerabilities, and common software engineering flaws.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, planning, and organizational skills.
