Responsibilities
- Own the frontend development and web experience for scayle.com and scaylestudios.ai.
- Lead the migration of scayle.com from WordPress to a modern headless or React/Next.js stack.
- Build conversion-focused navigation, landing pages, onboarding processes, activation modules, and payment integrations.
- Improve technical SEO, Generative Engine Optimization, Core Web Vitals, media performance, and loading speed.
- Implement event tracking, A/B tests, and conversion metrics in collaboration with the Demand team.
- Collaborate with Content, Product, and Demand teams to deliver growth initiatives.
- Integrate AI coding tools into engineering workflows and create secure publishing processes for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- More than five years of hands-on senior software development experience.
- Demonstrated web development experience in B2B/SaaS or marketing environments.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails with Hotwire.
- Experience with WordPress and migration to a headless setup or React/Next.js stack.
- Deep understanding of Core Web Vitals, media and video optimization, CDNs, technical SEO, and GEO strategies.
- Proven experience developing high-converting landing pages, signup flows, and payment integrations such as Stripe.
- Experience with A/B testing, tracking, and conversion optimization.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor in software development.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
- Interest in fashion, e-commerce, or creative technology is a plus.
