Responsibilities
- Lead technical design of major agentic-first subsystems, including service architecture, data models, and agent/tool integrations.
- Orchestrate long-running multi-agent workflows across planning, implementation, testing, review, and verification.
- Own major product initiatives from ambiguous problem statements through design, multi-team execution, rollout, and operability.
- Define evaluation harnesses, test workflows, guardrails, observability, and review practices for agent-generated code.
- Shape internal agentic engineering playbooks, tooling, and rituals, and mentor Senior engineers.
- Own performance, reliability, security, and software supply chain protection for the product area.
- Partner with Product, Security Research, UX, and Support leaders to create shippable technical plans and conduct design reviews.
Requirements
- Reside in the Atlanta area and be flexible for future hybrid work.
- Have hands-on production experience designing, running, and scaling multi-agent systems and long-running agent workflows.
- Have experience with agent orchestration, MCP tooling, shared context and memory, agent handoffs, and evaluation harnesses.
- Have led internal agentic workflow rollouts or otherwise advanced practices for working with software agents.
- Have a product engineering mindset and independently drive product decisions, scope, trade-offs, and sequencing.
- Have 7+ years of professional software development experience and a record of leading multi-quarter initiatives across multiple teams or services.
- Have strong experience with Java, AWS, Azure, or GCP, and large-scale distributed systems, including performance tuning, data-intensive services, and production operability.
- Have working knowledge of software supply chain security, including CycloneDX, SPDX, SCA, SLSA provenance, Sigstore/cosign signing, OSV, NVD, and package ecosystem attack patterns.
